MEET TIM
Conditionally Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC-c)
National Certified Counselor (NCC)
I’m Tim. I help people who’ve been caught in the web of trauma, stress, shame, depression, and more. It’s messy out there — no denying it — and the struggle between who you are and who you think you should be can feel like a never-ending battle.
My trauma-informed approach — drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy and Somatic approaches — helps unravel these stories. We dive deep into the patterns that rule your life, figure out what’s no longer serving you, and lean into strategies for meaningful embodied change.
Also, I’m a geek. I’m a certified Therapeutic Gamemaster (yes, that’s a thing), and can incorporate every tool in the box, whether it’s evidence-based methods or the imaginative world of role-playing, to help you regain agency over your life.
If you’ve been burned by therapy before, or maybe you’re wary of digging up the past, I’m here to make it feel safe. Let’s get to work — on your terms.
WHY COUNSELING?
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges, counseling can help you navigate these struggles and find meaningful ways to heal and grow.
It's a space to breathe, to feel, and to change.
If any of the issues below sound like you, reach out.
Your mind feels like it's on a hamster wheel–spinning through what-ifs and maybes until it's all you can hear.
Why can't I make it stop?

ANXIETY
It’s like the world has dimmed, and all you can see is gray. Things you used to love now feel like they take too much energy.
What's the point?

DEPRESSION
The weight of what happened stays with you, like a shadow that won't quit, shaping how you feel, think, and interact with the world.
Is anything really safe?

TRAUMA
No one ever tells you how complicated love, friendship, and family can be. Now you’re adrift in the messy in-between, trying to figure out how to connect, get back, or move forward.
Why don't they get it?

RELATIONSHIPS
It’s like you’re standing alone in front of the world, but can’t shake the feeling that you’re an imposter and everyone's just waiting for you to fall on your face.
Do I have what it takes?

SELF-ESTEEM &
CONFIDENCE
That relentless voice in your head that keeps saying you’re not enough, that you're doing it wrong — like living with a bully in your own mind. Am I a good person?

SHAME
(AKA THE INNER CRITIC)
It’s like the weight of everything is crashing down all at once—too many demands, too many emotions, too much to handle.
How do I catch my breath when the world keeps piling on?

OVERWHELM
It bubbles up unexpectedly, like a pressure building inside, and once it’s out, it feels impossible to control. The frustration makes everything feel unfair, the injustice too much.
Why can’t I just find some peace?

ANGER
The world feels emptier now, like something irreplaceable is missing. Every reminder of what you had makes it feel like the hole left behind is deeper. How do I move forward when part of me is gone?

GRIEF & LOSS
SERVICES
Currently offering in-person sessions in Blue Hill, ME, as well as virtual sessions via secure video platform.
Need some nature therapy? Let me know in advance, and we can work in an outdoor setting.
I offer individual 60 & 75 minute sessions, 90 minute couples/partners/family sessions, and 90 minute group counseling.
Relationships, at their best, are hard work. We dive into the sticky stuff: where you’re stuck, why you're hurt, and how to navigate the webs that form between love, expectation, and disappointment. Together, we’ll work toward deeper communication in order to experience deeper connection.
RELATIONSHIP
COUNSELING
You’re not alone. Whether in person or online, group therapy is about creating a space where others “get it.” It’s powerful. We work through challenges, we laugh, we cry and sometimes roleplay (no, really—it works). Everyone’s story is different, but the human connection remains the same.
GROUP
COUNSELING
Yes, Dungeons & Dragons can heal. Through roleplaying games, you’ll find new ways to explore and reimagine your narrative. It’s about stepping into new roles, trying out new ways of being, and discovering strengths you didn’t know you had. It’s not just fun—it’s transformative.
